BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Paws-Ability is working with Brunswick County Animal Protective Services to halt the spread of deadly, preventable diseases in dogs and cats.
Beginning Saturday, and continuing through March, free canine and feline distemper vaccines will be available at various locations, to help prevent parvo, panleukopenia, and distemper.
The grant program is designed to increase the number of vaccinated family pets, not only to improve the lives of family pets, but to decrease the spread of disease should these pets enter shelters, according to Paws-Ability.
